Kathleen Minnick, MD, is a board-certified breast surgeon and the Medical Director at Lucina Women's Health, which has locations in Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Parkland, Margate, Wellington and Boynton Beach, Florida.
After graduating Cum Laude in biochemistry at Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, Dr. Minnick received her Doctor of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Hershey, Pennsylvania. There, she was named Chief Resident in general surgery while also leading as an instructor at Gross Anatomy Laboratory. She went on to complete a two-year Surgical Research Fellowship in pediatric surgery with a focus on wound healing.
Dr. Minnick is active in her community and currently serves as Co-Medical Director of the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Care at Wellington Regional Medical Center, where she also performs the first Intra-Operative Radiation Therapy (IORT) in the area. She is the current Chair of the Breast Tumor board at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
